Rudolph Goffney
On December 14, 1955 in Huntsville, Texas. The Lord blessed Fred Goffney and Orlean
Jefferson-Goffney with a beautiful baby boy named Rudolph. He was educated in La Marque
Independent School District, Class of 1974.
Rudolph began his working career in construction working at Philips Construction
Company where he met the love of his life Inez E. Greer, the two married on April 16th 1988. To
this union he gained a son Maurice D. Greer, a daughter Esherika E. Bacon and a special “grand
Daughter” Daijah E. Greer.
Rudolph is proceeded in death by his parents and his brother Freddie Goffney. Rudolph
excepted Christ at an early age. Rudolph was a very humble and soft spoken man who loved
everyone and was much loved. Rudolph was always bar-b-queing showing off his talent
affectionately called the pit-master. And was always ready for a good game of dominos.
Rudolph leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 33 years, Inez E. Goffney. His
children Maurice D. Greer (Brandi) Esherika E. Bacon, special “grand Daughter” Daijah E.
Greer. Sister Fredia Goffney-Davis (Mike), sister in laws Rosetta Allen, Gloria Abrams, brother
in law Larry Jarmon, grandchildren Micah Greer, Matthan Jones, JaMaile James, Paris E.
Santiago, nephews Ben Allen, Davonta Allen, Darian Hubisz, Jarius Rameriz, grand godson
Leland Young, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
