                                                                      IN LOVING MEMORY

                                                             LINDA MARLENE DRAKE KERVIN

Linda has returned to her beloved Father’s house to rejoice and sing in his honor.  She was a devout Christian with a beautiful soul who touched the lives of so many and our days are a little less bright without her.  Whether she was tending to her beloved plants, reading, writing her many pen pals or simply playing with her pets she always had a song on both her lips and her heart.

Preceeded in death by her parents Lucy and Pete Malak and Jack Drake, all of Dayton,  as well as by her beloved brothers Rex Drake, of Groverton; Micah Drake, of Colorado;  and her step sister Diane Hues of Dayton.  And we mustn’t forget her very best friend  Boo-Boo!!

She is survived by her son Marvin Doyle Kervin Jr and wife Karen, of Dayton;  daughter Sheila Kervin and husband David, of Pasadena;  grandsons Joseph Padierna and wife Michelle, of Baytown; Jonathan Kervin and fiance’ Nickie, of Baytown; granddaughter Rebecca and her family; and her great grandson Ian Doyle Kervin of Baytown. She is also survived by her beloved  sister Brenda Gunn  of Amarillo and her step brother Michael Pete and wife Linda of Baytown and half brother  Jesse James Malak and wife Charol Of Dayton. Many nieces, nephews, cousins , cherished friends and other loved ones are left to honor her memory as well.

There will be no formal service to honor Linda as she donated herself to science in order to help others even after she was gone.  Linda was a kind and gentle soul and for those wishing to honor her memory the family asks that you simply say a prayer, do a kindness for another, or even sing a song for her.
