Jose Phelipe De Morais
Jose Phelipe De Morais was born March 19, 1936 in a small rural town in Minas Gerais, Brazil. He passed away at the age of 83, in Katy,Texas, to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, on August 14, 2019, At the time of his passing, he was with his youngest daughter, Sara De Morais Sobrinho, who had the honor to serve him until his last breath, caring for him and showing him her devoting love.
Phelipe enjoyed spending his retired years along side his daughter Sara, and her family. His favorite things to do was take his two grand kids, Gavin and Chloe, to the park, watch them play soccer, take them to eat and spend time with them. He loved his Hershey's chocolate bars, his soda and watching soccer. Most of all, he loved playing cards with his daughter Sara and his son-in-law, Abraham and grandson, Gavin.
He is survived by his wife, Francisca DeJesus, who shared 45 years by his side. They share one daughter, Sara De Morais Sobrinho. Sara has 2 children, Gavin De Morais Sobrinho, 18, who is joining the United States Marine Corps and Chloe De Morais Sobrinho, 8. Her husband, Abraham Sobrinho, was like a son to Phelipe, having known him since birth, as Abraham's father and mother were close friends with Phelipe from the early 1970's.
Phelipe loved his family, both here in the States, and his family in Brazil. He is survived by his older sister, Maria das Dores Morais. He is also survived by his lovely 4 daughters who live in Brazil. Hiojuma F. Morais Monteiro, Fabiola F. Morais Evangelista, Margareth F. Morais Parreiras, and Fabiana F. Morais Toledo. He is survived by his 12 grandchildren in Brazil, Camila Morais Fernandes, Danilo Morais Monteiro, Marina & Ana Cecilia Morais Evangelista, Gabriel, Clara, Carolina, Mickaele and Arthur Morais Parreiras, Guilherme, Lucas and Samara Morais Toledo. He also is survived by 3 beautiful great- grand babies, Miguel Barreto Parreiras, Sofia Martins Toledo and Isaque Gabriel Cabral Toledo.
Phelipe will be placed to rest in his native town of Conselheiro Pena, Brazil in his family plot. He will be alongside his mother, Maria Alves De Morais and his sister Gercilia Morais Da Silva.
Funeral Mass will be atAugust 22 at 10:00 am.
