BorninGalveston,Texas,totheunionofJamesL.Caligone,SrandElderGuilloryCaligone.SanggrewupinLaMarqueandattendedpublicschoolincludingLincolnHighSchool.Helovedandplayedalltypesofsportsincludingfootball,volleyballandbowling.Hisfaithwasimportanttohim,ashewasa

long-timememberofQueenofPeaceCatholicChurchinLaMarque.Heproudlyserved in the United States Army from 1963 to 1969. As a dedicated emplyee heworkedfortheCityofHoustonandforover30yearsinvariouspostionsinthetruckingindustry.

Sangwillfondlyberememberedforbeingaloving,generousfather,brother,uncleandgrandfather.Hecherishedspendingtimewithfamilyandclosefriends.Hisendearingpersonalitydrewpeopletohimbecausehenevermetastranger.Ifhesawaproblemorneed,hewasgoingtotakecareofit-noquestionsasked.Alwayswillingtolendahelpinghand,andbeingahardworkerweretraitsheacquiredfromhisfather,JamesSr.

 

AllwhoknewhimknewofhislovefortheDallasCowboysaswellashispassionandskillatthedominotable.Althoughhistruestpassionwasshing.

Jeerson (Roy), brothers Martin Caligone, Sr., and Allan Ray Caligone (Angela);childrenJameL.Caligone,III(Latrice),ReVetta"Kim"Doswell(Craig),DavidL.Caligone(Pepsi),anddevotedgrandchildren,nieces,nephews,andotherrelativesandfriends.

 

Sangwasprecededindeathbyhisparents,JamesL.Caligone,Sr.,andElderMcCardell,brothersIvoryRobert"Bumpy"Caligone,HarryCaligoneandRonnieCaligone,sisterPatriciaWilsonanddaughterJamyeickaJ.Caligone.

There will be a public visitation held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10am with a chapel service to begin at 12pm
