Eva Satterly Miholick

Eva Miholick

Eva Satterly Miholick 58 of Galveston Texas passed away on August 16, 2021.

Eva was born July 22, 1963, to Robbie Horne and Ronald Satterly. She was the second oldest of 7 children in a blended family.

As an islander, Eva took great pride in being a BOI. She had a passion for all things Galveston. There was never a shortage of praise for the beauty that this island showed her. She was thankful to God for this gift she called home.

There are many things in life that Eva was proud of but none more than her family. She never missed an opportunity to let her siblings, nieces and nephews know how proud she was of their accomplishments. Second only to this was her love and devotion for her many lifelong friendships. Eva was always proud to declare her many friendships of 50+ years.

Although Eva's life was far from easy, and often a constant struggle, she deeply loved her Lord, her family and friends.  She made no doubt about her faith in Jesus Christ whom she believed with her whole heart to be her Lord and Savior.

Eva is preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life James "Jim" Miholick, her father Ronald Satterly and brother Warren Satterly.

Eva is survived by her devoted mother Robbie Horne and husband Dave Horne, whose love and guidance through Jesus Christ have been immeasurable. Her son Craig Sabrsula, daughter Lyndsay Alvarado and husband Eric, son Matthew Miholick and wife Century McCarthy, brothers Butch Kenworthy and wife Brenda, David Kenworthy and wife Debra, sisters Amy Satterly Carr, Kim Knight and husband Dennis, and Gayle Raines along with numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews that will never understand how deeply they were loved by such a beautiful soul.  We would especially like to express our love and appreciation for Dave Lopez and Kelly Nix for their love, support and encouragement to the family.  Rest easy cool breeze. May your spirit finally be at peace.
