De'Ondre Rayshad Sanders
He was nurtured and taught the love of Christ. He attended his family’s church Sanford’s Temple Church of God In Christ. Where he was baptized and an active member of the Youth Department and Soldiers 4 Christ.
Dman was a student at Space Center Intermediate School where he had many friends. He loved basketball where he played with the City of Texas City Basketball League and other leagues in Galveston County. His teams were the YMCA Hometown Heroes, Superstar Clippers and Clutch City Hoops. He also enjoyed Karate, Kickboxing, Tactical Fitness, and video games with his Godfather; but nothing put a smile on his face like playing basketball. His dream was to play in the NBA one day.
Dman’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His radiant and wonderful smile could melt the hearts of those around him. With Dman’s passing, we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, especially his bright eyes and silly laugh. He will forever remain in our hearts. We were able to create wonderful memories with him and it has been a blessing to be in his life for these 11 years.
