Corina Vasquez Naranjo, of Manvel, Texas was reunited with her husband, John on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 13th, 1942 to Bernardina Salas and Nemorino Vasquez in Pharr TX. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Young at heart with a contagious sense of humor and a green thumb.
She is preceded in death by parents, Bernardina Salas and Nemorino Vasquez; sisters, Carmen Alanis and Delia Vasquez; brother, Richard Vasquez, husband, John Albert and sons, John Albert Jr. and Joseph Lee.
Survived by sons, Jerome and wife Angela and James and wife D’Anna; grandchildren, Kelli Weichman, Kimberly and husband Michael Ramirez, James and wife Beth Armstrong, Amanda and husband Guillermo Pina Jr. II, Joseph, Jakob, Joshua, Kayla and Kaden Naranjo; great-grandchildren, Kory and wife Persia Watson, Hannah & Aliceann Watson, Zachary Weichman, Jordan, Guillermo Jr. III and Aleyna Pina, Joey, Davey and Daisy Ramirez; sisters, Olivia and husband Epitacio Ramirez, Lillian and husband Reynaldo Rangel, Dolores (Chata) Ibarra, Ruby and husband Roger Eickelman; brothers, Carlos Vasquez, Edward and wife Pat Vasquez, Carlos and wife Betty Vasquez, Leo and wife Vicki Alaniz, Robert Alanis, and oodles of nieces, nephews and friends.
She loved cooking, gardening, shopping, talking to her friends, taking selfies, watching Alaskan Bush People, and most of all, her family.
Guests are invited to attend A Celebration of Life at Carnes Funeral Home – Texas City, 3100 Gulf Freeway 77591 on Sunday, November 12th at 1:00 PM with a fellowship following in the Banquet Hall.
