Zachary Scott Rouse, 24, of League City, Texas, left from this earth on Thursday, May 22nd, 2014.

Zach touched everyone's life with humor and happiness. He had a contagious laugh and a smile that would light up a room. His family and friends were the center of his life and he was always there for those that needed him. His love and humor will forever be an example to us all. Zach has a beautiful baby girl, Kaylee, who will always remember her father's compassion and love for her. For all of his friends and family, he was a blessing in each and every one of our lives.

Zach had a passion for the outdoors. He loved fishing, swimming, floating the river with a beer in his hand, and mudding. He was very athletic and he played football, and basketball.  He loved being around children. He would often feed and help stray animals.

Zach is survived by his loving mother, Carrie Rouse; sister, Kelsey Bates; brothers, Wesley Newmyer and Colin Rouse; daughter, Kaylee Witacre; grandparents, Tommy Rouse and Norma Lanham; uncles, Kraig and Ronald Flowers; aunt, Charlotte Flowers; cousins, Kristin Lewis, Brandyn, Erik, and Klint Flowers and a multitude of friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Carnes Funeral Home - Texas City, 3100 Gulf Freeway Texas City, TX, 77591, on Saturday, May 31st at 1:00pm.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 901 N. Kansas St. League City, TX 77573, at 3:00pm. Relatives and friends are welcome.
