Wilbert Tyrone Brown II
Wilbert Tyrone Brown II, of Galveston. TX., passed away on February, 3rd, 2017 at the age of 72. He is the son of Wilbert Tyrone Brown Sr. (living) and Irene Frank (deceased) of Galveston, TX. With great sadness of having his first son pass before him named, Wilbert T. Brown III, he is survived by youngest son, Wilbert Tyrone (Tiberius) Brown IV and his beloved wife Lora Sabinada-Brown. Including his father (Sr.), daughters Therese R. Brown, Kimberly A. Brown and Nicole Brown, step sons and daughters William Anderson and Derrick Anderson, Nyesha Howard-Bell and Kia Wakefield. He also leaves behind his mother's sister and favorite aunt Barbara Jean Henderson, brothers and sisters Marty Ford, Terry Ford and Debra Ford-Rose of TX, Eric Tyrone Brown, Kenneth Dewayne Brown and Gary Brown of CA, and another sister Stella-Rose Brown-Yoder (Chris) of CO. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren.
He graduated from Central High School in 1963 and with his passion for anything electronic, excelled in the United States Air Force with his unit receiving outstanding awards. He was ordained as a minister in 1986 and acquired great and many friends and friendship with members of Live Oak Baptist and Second Christian Church. He was honorably retired from military service with the FAA in Miami, Fl. He was a self taught to play the organ and keyboard and produced several original CD's. He was a computer geek and anything electronic he knew about it. Worked for the City of Galveston, AT&T, and owned his own computer repair business. He loved model trains and planes and flight simulation but his passions were God, music and his son(s). He will be remembered for his love for the Lord, his traits for being a good listener, giving words of wisdom and his love of music.
There will be a public visitation on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11am with a service beginning at 12pm with a burial to follow at Houston National Cemetery.
