Wanda Marie Bacot
Wanda Marie Bacot, 74, passed away peacefully at home in Santa Fe, Texas on February 19th, 2014. She was born in Weatherford, Texas on August 8th, 1939. She was married in November of 1957 to Thomas A. Bacot. They divorced after thirty-two years but remained friends till the end.
Wanda had a passion for the outdoors and animals. She loved camping, water skiing, and riding motorcycles. She never meet an animal she didn't love, with the exception of snakes. She retired from GTE in the early nineties after a thirty-two year career filled with fond memories and lifelong friends.
To know her was to love her. She was known for her great story telling, and her smile and positive outlook couldn't help but rub off on those around her. She was a terrific mother and friend, who always put the needs of others before herself.
Wanda may have left us physically, but her soul lives on forever with Christ. Her smile and memories will carry on with all those who knew her.
