Victor Hugo Paredes Jr.
Victor Hugo Paredes, Jr. left this world suddenly and took his place in Heaven on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at age 42. He shared 17 years of marriage and almost 20 years of love, laughter, and partnership with his wife Nicole Analise Paredes.
He was born to Victor Hugo Paredes, Sr. and Dorina Paredes in Buenaventura Colombia on December 3, 1978. He moved to the United States at age 7 and obtained his citizenship in August 2000. He graduated Hastings High school and then attended San Jacinto College where he played soccer for two years.
He was employed at Red River BBQ as a manager for the last 3 1/2 years.
In his free time he most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching movies, cooking, and playing soccer.
He will be remembered most for his vivacity, charm, humor, love for helping who ever he could, and contagious laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole; children, Yahaira Alameda, Riley Alexander Paredes, and Malena Nicole Paredes; his brother Randy Paredes, his sister Alanna Paredes and her spouse Edward Garcia; his father in law and mother in law, Robert and Debbie Anson; sister and brother in law, Amber and Joshua Hayes, brother in law Steven Anson; as well as 6 nieces and 2 nephew; aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends to count, as well as his trusty furry "kid" Whiskey.
The private family viewing is scheduled for Tuesday January 12, 2021 from 1 - 2 pm. There will be a celebration of life at Walter Hall Park on Sunday March 14 from 12 to 4 pm.
