Tommy Lane Hinkle
Tommy Lane Hinkle of Magnolia, Texas was born Sunday, July 10, 1955 in Searcy Arkansas to the union of Tom and Alma (Bradford) Hinkle, the youngest of 10 children. He left this world on Saturday June 30, 2018.
Tommy was a Pipeline Welding Inspector with Ensite and a Veteran of the United States Army. He loved fishing, boating, rebuilding old cars/trucks and riding his motorcycle. But what Tommy loved most was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Tom and Alma (Bradford) Hinkle, three sisters Nina (Hinkle) Coffee, Reba (Hinkle) Brinkley, and infant Jessie Maxine Hinkle, one brother Carl Hinkle, in-laws Mark and Barbara (Overstreet) Haskins, sister-in-law Micki Haskins-Phillips, infant stepson James Marcus Haskins, and other family and friends.
Tommy is survived by his wife Cynthia (Haskins) Hinkle; two daughters Rachel Hinkle of Magnolia, Texas and Erica Shai and husband Everette Holmes of Conroe, Texas; three wonderful grandchildren Shelby Jordan, Khloe Federlein, and Shawn Powell; three brothers; Charlie and wife Betty Hinkle, Allen and wife Pam Hinkle, Phillip and wife Tammy Hinkle all of Arkansas; two sisters; Judy and husband Johnny Gibson of Arkansas and Debra Hinkle of Texas; sister in law Marca (Haskins) and husband George Galindo of Arkansas and many loving nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Funeral service will be held iat Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs, Arkansas on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00pm in the afternoon. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held in Texas within the next few weeks with details to follow.
The family asks that in leu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association in Tommy’s memory.
