Tibba Rena Graves
Tibba Rena Graves was born on September 9, 1980 in Gonzales, TX. She passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the age of 32 in Houston, TX after suffering a stroke.
Tibba is preceded in death by her Grandma- Mildred “Sue” Smith, Grandpa- Curtis “Steve” Smith, Grandma- Bernice Strokos Graves Sparks and Grandpa- Henry “Sparky” Earl Sparks.
Tibba is survived by her son- Tanner Maxwell Rogers of Dickinson, TX; parents, Willie Ray Graves and Suzette “Tootie” Rena Graves of Dickinson, TX; grandfather, Lawrence Levill Graves Sr., of Bacliff, TX; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She attended Dickinson High School, where she graduated with honors. She attended Texas Tech University and was on the Dean’s List. She also had a phlebotomist license. Tibba was employed by Hoyer Global (USA) Inc. in Houston, TX as an Operations/ Logistics Clerk.
Tibba was a loving and caring mother, daughter, cousin, niece and friend- never to be seen without a smile. She was a member of BARC and an active supporter of the homeless and hungry. Tibba believed with all her heart- it is better to give than to receive.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church 2504 44th Street, Dickinson, TX 77539, with Pastor Thomas Medlock officiating.
