Thomas (Tom) Nenni, 68, passed away in the care of M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Friday, May 11, 2018 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Tom was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on March 29, 1950 to Edward J. and Alice (Sepianik) Nenni. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edward Nenni and sister, Jacqueline Knechtel.
In addition to his wife, Kathleen (Jeffreys) Nenni, Tom is survived by his son, Justin Nenni and his wife, Nozomi; his daughter, Sarah Nenni Daher and her husband Jeff; and his daughter, Becky Nenni Lowe and her husband, John. Tom is also survived by his granddaughters, nieces Terri (Knechtel) Toner and her family of Minnesota and Dana Knechtel of Arizona and her son, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and second cousins, as well as many loving in-laws.
Tom received a degree in history from the University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, California in 1974 and his J. D. from South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas in 1983. Tom and Kathleen raised their children in Onalaska, Texas where he practiced law until 2009.
Tom loved sailing, history and adventures. His last great adventure was taken in 2009 with his wife when they moved to Cerro Azul in Panama and lived for the last nine years. There he enjoyed the love and friendship of the many great people they met there.
No formal memorial service will be planned.
