Tamicia Yvette “Evie” Thompson, daughter of Linda Thompson and the late Charles Ray Winn was born on October 30,1979 in Bunkie, Louisiana. She attended the public schools of La Marque Independent School District, a graduate of the Class of 1998. She furthered her education at Remington College where she received her certification in Medical Billing and Coding.

At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized. She was a member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church where she was an active member in The Marching Saints Drill team and loved singing in the choir under the leadership of Rev. Jonathan Steele Sr. Later in life, Tamicia continued her Christian walk with the Lord and by becoming a member at Redeeming Ministries Church under the leadership of Bishop R. D. Boone.

Tamicia enjoyed singing, watching movies, but most of all spending time with her “Nanny Babies” (nephews) Davon, Jayden, Dwight, Orentheir Jr, Seanstince and (nieces)Orielle and Ja'Kira.

Tamicia departed from this life on Thursday May 10, 2018. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Ray Winn, maternal grandparents, Vivian and Ennis Guy, paternal grandparents, Shirley Deselle and Melvin Winn Sr, and her sister, Tiffany Johnson

Tamicia’s bright smile and memories will forever be cherished by her loving mother, Linda Faye Thompson; beloved siblings; sisters, Tikeshia Rollins(Anthony), Rochelle Thompson-Boone(Roshawn),  Shannon Thompson, Catrecia Daniels, Amita Fulton(John), Shauntella Fulton(Michael); brothers Alexander Thompson(Claudia), and Orenthier Fulton(Danielle) Gabrielle, Sophia, Madison and Aiden Thompson; aunts Willie Mae Holt(Billie), Jennell Thompson, Joyce Allen(Willie), Carolyn Caligone, Irma Maxwell, Gaye Morgan, Avis Morgan, Linda Dobbins, Patricia Desselle(Marvin); uncles Jeffrey Guy, Kenneth Guy, Benard Dobbins(Rose),  Donald Dobbins (Cassandra) Troy Desselle(Toni), and Paul Desselle(Angelica); a host of cousins, family members and friends.

There will be a public visitation held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10am with a chapel  service to begin promptly at noon.  Burial to follow at Rising Star Cemetery.
