Sylvia Sue Gray
Sylvia Sue Gray, 72, born November 5, 1938, Galveston, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011, at her home in Texas City. At her bedside were her brother, Joseph D. Spillers, had her sister, Janice Meriwether.
Funeral services will be held at the grave site at Galveston County Memorial Park, Hitchcock, Texas on Monday, September 12, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.
Sue Gray was a lifelong resident of this area, having graduated from La Marque High School. Sue was retired from UTMB after 34 years of service. She was an accomplished bowler and loved her weekly card game and dinner with friends. She also loved all forms of wildlife and its preservation.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Jerri Sue Gray, and her husband, Donald Turner. She is survived by her brother, J.D. Spillers and wife Annette; sister, Janice Meriwether and her husband, Don; aunt and uncle Pat and George Jollie; uncle Joe Huber; Donna Scharper, Todd Turner, Vicki Sarvis, and a host of other family and friends.
