Suzanne Angelica Ramirez

Suzanne Ramirez
Suzanne Angelica Ramirez has gone home to be with the Lord at 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018. She passed away at a family member’s home after a five-month battle with gastric cancer. She is with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and is no longer in pain or suffering. She did not go out without a fight.  Heaven will have more laughs and will be a little bit brighter with her smile now that she has gone home.
Suzanne loved to spend time with family and friends.  She never met a stranger and was always smiling.  Everyone knew her as a strong and loving mother.  Her wish was granted as she left her legacy to the world.  It was her wish to be a donor in the Willed Body Program.  As a donor, her body is made available for teaching and scientific purposes to the Anatomical Board of the State of Texas (SAB) as represented by McGovern Medical School at UTHealth.  She has the potential to help others live longer and healthier lives.  They may support research on diseases; help find a cure for illness, disease, or cancer; assist in the development of new life saving technology; and allow beginning and seasoned doctors to better able assist those left behind.
Suzanne is survived by her three children, Jerry Ramirez, Dolores Perez and Jadrin Lee; granddaughters, Mercedes Williams, Samaj Williams, Nyla Ramirez and Kyndal Ramirez; mother, Nina C. Martinez; sisters, Sammie Rinehart, Aurora Solis, Sonja Salinas,  Annette, Fernandez and Nina Reagins and brother, Robert Martinez.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at La Paz Memorial Funeral Home, 7902 Nordling Rd, Houston, TX 77037 on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 4pm.
