Stephen Richard Ulsh
Stephen “Steve-O” Richard Ulsh was born in Houston, Texas to Lee and Jeanette Ulsh. Surrounded by family and friends, he passed awayat the age of 56.
Whether Steve was breaking clubs on the golf course, hurting himself during home projects, making complete strangers do “table crawls” at a pool hall or cooking a meal for all of his family and friends, he made people laugh and he made us happy. Steve’s ability to make others lose themselves in his presence forgetting the nonsense and stress of every day life was perhaps his most memorable attribute and greatest gift to those who knew him. Steve’s familiar smile was so infectious he made us smile often before we realized it. Yelling his catch phrase, “Yeah, Baby!”, Steve-O got the party going and he was always at the center of it. We all liked it that way. Those of us who knew him have no doubt Steve is in Heaven holding a Bourbon, laughing and carrying on with family and friends he hasn’t seen in quite some time, while making plans to golf on what can only be the most beautiful course he has ever seen.
Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa “T-Bone” Ulsh, of Hitchcock, Texas; adoring parents, Lee and Jeanette Ulsh, of Houston, Texas; loving brother, Michael Ulsh and wife, Sherri, of Honolulu, Hawaii; devoted son, Richard Ulsh and wife, Kerrin, of Gainesville, Virginia; devoted son, James Ulsh, of Katy, Texas; devoted son, Stephen Ulsh and wife, Elizabeth, of Richmond, Texas; niece, Shelby, and nephew, Shaun, of Honolulu, Hawaii; and grandchildren, Aiden, Madison, Connor, Brendan, and Colin. All of us miss him dearly.
Steve was passionate about helping others. As a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments, he found a way to do this everyday for fourteen great years. Edward Jones and those he worked with are part of Steve’s family.
