Sabino Guerrero, at the age of 77 years, resident of Houston, Texas, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on March 23, 2018 with his wife and daughter in law at his side.
Sabino was born on December 30, 1940, in Kerrville, Texas, to Fermin and Anastacia Guerrero. He married Belia De La Cruz on October 17, 1959. Through their union, they had three children: Eddie De La Cruz, Perry Guerrero (wife Linda), Fermin Guerrero (wife Jeanette).
Dad retired in 2013 after a lengthy employment in construction as a supervisor. He was very active member in the Knights of Columbus where he held the office of Grand Knight. He humbly served Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church as a Eucharistic Minister. Dad and Mom enjoyed traveling to various casinos across the country: Las Vegas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Delaware. He was a very witty and friendly man. With his gift of gab, he always made a new friend.
Dad loved spending time with his family more than anything. You can see his sense humor shining brightly through his sons. He was proud and always present at any event that his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren participated in. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren always brought a smile to his face.
He is survived by his wife Belia, children Eddie De La Cruz, Perry Guerrero, Fermin Guerrero, grandchildren, Veronica De La Cruz, Perry (Aishah) Guerrero Jr., Cristina (Alfonso) Carmona, Jessica (Rudy) Ramirez, Eddie De La Cruz Jr., Valerie (Eric Farmer) De La Cruz, Fermin Anthony Guerrero, great grandchildren, Joshua Gonzales, Angelica De Leon, Isaiah De Leon, Eliyah Farmer, Ryan Farmer, Silas Dean Guerrero, Camila Carmona, Rudy Alexander Ramirez, great-great child, Jayden De Leon, his brothers Vale Perez, Joel Guerrero, and Pedro Guerrero, his sister Rosalinda Nino and many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
Dad is now reunited with his brothers, Antonio and Fermin, Jr. Guerrero and sister, Cipriana (Linda) Guerrero, and Parents.
Sabino will be greatly missed but we know where we can find him, in heaven enjoying a game of Keno and sipping on his favorite beverage.
