Her first love was Hawaii, especially the island of Kauai and Poipu Beach and a special beach on Waikiki. She went there several times with her sister, friends and even alone. She was very proud of the plumeria trees growing in her yard that are products of cuttings she brought home from Kauai. She even had a special vase to show off the blossoms.
