Ronald Richardson (Ron) - 08/08/1956 -- 09/08/2016
Ronald Raymond Richardson stepped into eternity, Thursday, September 8, at 6:44 A.M., succumbing to the lung cancer that had ravaged him for several years. His friends and co-workers knew him as Ron; to his family, he was Ronnie. Ronnie worked hard, and lived his life with gusto. He never seemed to meet a stranger, and was quick with a compliment or comment, as he deemed necessary.
Ronald was born in Houston to Arthur and Lillie Richardson. He attended Kashmere Gardens High School. He loved to work, spending half of his career as a construction worker. When his health problems began to take their toll, he began to work as a chef at five-star restaurants. He also loved to cook, eat, and have fun.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and on brother, Arthur Richardson, Jr. He leaves behind his older brother Jimmie Richardson and his wife, Bonnie; older sisters, Verna Richardson and Barbara Forte; significant other, Kim Stevens; nephew, Omar Sutherland and his wife, Lizabeth; niece, Kendra Forte; niece and husband, Crystal and Chamal Harris; and many friends.
