Richard worked as an electrician at Sea Lion Technology for 30 years, and there was nothing that he didn’t know how to fix. As a father and grandfather, Richie was a pillar of strength for his family, and all looked up to him as a guardian and caretaker. Dad had a great sense of humor, and was great at coming up with jokes on the spot. He always managed to find humor even in the most ordinary situations. Dad was known for his impeccable attention to detail, and his home, car, and belongings were always maintained with that level of precision. Dad was meticulous about his hats, clothing, shoes, jewelry, and cologne.
Dad’s life changed forever the day his first grandson Adrian was born. Being a grandfather was Dad’s greatest source of joy. He loved playing his guitar and listening to music – "Heavy Metal" and rock were his favorites. He enjoyed collecting tattoos, guitars and guns. He appreciated the simple things in life. Big Mama’s beef jerky, cold beer, anything pickled, and raw garlic were a few of his favorite things.
