Richard Orona, (53), entered into internal rest on June 9, 2020 in Galveston, TX, where he lived the last few years of his life.
Born in Austin, TX, he was the son of Rudolph and Guadalupe Orona.
He enjoyed tinkering with cars and even had a zest for anything Corvette. He gave one of his daughters the middle name of Corvette so that he could say he owned a Corvette at least once in his lifetime. Most of us will remember him for his quick wit, fun attitude, and his love for hanging out with the Gonzales family every chance he could get. Richard was a smart man who seemed to be a jack-of-all trades. From cooking to gardening to fast cars, he enjoyed life to the fullest.
Richard is survived by his wife, Lisa Orona, as well as, his four children, Tabitha Powell and husband Chris, Isabel Corvette Orona, Clarissa Angel Orona, Armando Michael Orona. Richard is also survived by his stepson, Jonathan Rosales.
Richard is preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Orona and his daughter, Shelley Ann Ojeda-Orona.
Richard will be deeply missed by all.
