Mary Jean Hinsey
Mary Jean Hinsey, 67, passed away March 27, 2016 after a short illness at home in Galveston, Texas. She had recently moved there from Fort Worth. Mary was born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 18, 1948.
She is preceded in death by her partner of twenty-five years, Jan McMullen; parents, James and Anna Hinsey; grandparents and sister, Tina Berry.
She is survived by sisters, Delores Hensel of Galveston, Nora Adams of Breckenridge; brothers, James Hinsey and Alan Kerr of Fort Worth; Godson, Nicolas Hensel and nephews, James Jones, James Wolfe and Taylor Rayburn.
Mary graduated from Northside High School where she played various musical instruments. She was last employed as a Registered Nurse at Baylor All-Saints Hospital in Fort Worth and was a member of various nursing organizations. She was named to the Top 100 Nurses in Texas in 2011. Mary was an ordained Minister and loved her Lord. Mary loved her family, friends and her church. She was an avid coin and sword collector.
Mary’s Memorial Services will be at 630 p.m., Thursday, March 31st, 2016 at
Celebrations Community Church, 908 Pennsylvania, in Fort Worth.
