Mary or Carol as she liked to be called lived her life caring for others. She had a huge heart for animals especially those that were lost or being mistreated. She was known to carry dog and cat food in the trunk of her car to feed strays or lure them to safety. Mary could even be seen stopping traffic or climbing into ditches and through trees to save an animal. She loved being near the water, whether it be at the ocean or relaxing on a float at their lake house.

Mary was the matriarch of our family. She was courageous, outspoken, loving and kind. She would go to any length to help someone in need. For the first time at the end of her life she put herself first. Mary is such a huge loss for her family, and she will be missed greatly.
