Marvin Lee Talbott
Marvin Lee Talbott, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 28th, 2019 at the age of 80. He was born on February 26th, 1939, in Houston, Texas, the first son of Marvin Leo and Mary (Gilliland) Talbott. Marvin joined the Marines early in his life and served a short time. He had various careers in the construction and fabrication industries, worked for Schlumberger Oilfield Services and later became a licensed electrician.
Marvin was very loving to all his family and friends and was a kind and generous person. He had a big heart for animals and adopted many pet dogs and a few cats over the years. Marvin enjoyed being outdoors especially fishing and in later years became a motorcycle enthusiast. And he could fix just about anything.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Betty Loofs, Linda Nigreville and Sandra Loofs and his brother George Talbott. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Talbott, Randall Talbott and Suzanne Linderman; grandchildren, Lauren Begg, Julianne Talbott and Adrian Talbott and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his partner of 35 years, Julie Shaw as well as her daughter Tina Holland, Tina’s children Dusty Holland and Jason Wallheimer and Julie’s grandson Jason Wallheimer Jr.
Marvin chose to donate his body to medical science at the Baylor College of Medicine so there will be no traditional visitation or interment service. A memorial celebration of his life will be held on May 25th at 11:00AM. Please contact Lynn Talbott @ 832-428-7152 for information and directions.
