Mark Alan Dunegan, 56, of Angleton, TX. passed away Saturday morning, November 5 2011 at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, TX. after a battle with cancer. Mark was born October 31, 1955 in Tulsa OK. Son of Gerald and Ann Dunegan. He graduated from Memorial High School in Houston in 1973. He went on to Collage at UT Austin for one year, then transferred to Houston Baptist University where he obtained degrees in Microbiology and Chemistry. He was accepted into Medical School at UT Houston where he obtained his Medical Doctor degree in 1989. Then he did a one year of Surgery Residency at Baylor Collage of Medicine. He enjoyed joining his Father in family practice for several years, at Fort Bend Professional Building in Missouri City. He was an avid fisherman and loved traveling to exotic places such as Hawaii, Tahiti and Bora Bora, where he enjoyed diving on the coral reefs and taking pictures of the fish. He also enjoyed working on stained glass projects. He was happiest at the beach or at home in company of his partner and their beloved dog Max. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
