Maria Luisa had huge faith and spent countless hours praying and studying her bible, she was the pastor at Luz de la Isla in Hitchcock, Texas. She also had a passion for gardening and cooking. Everything she touched with those loving hands bloomed beautifully. She also spent time in the kitchen preparing her delicious food; she was famous for her tasteful tortillas. Most of all Maria Luisa loved being with her children, grandchildren, and family. There was absolutely nothing she wouldn’t do for anyone who needed her. She taught us how to be strong, loving, and giving of ourselves. Most importantly, she taught us to remind each other how much we love and care for one another and to hug and kiss and be affectionate to those we care about. She was our comfort, strength, supporter, and our everything. There will never be a greater love than hers.
Pallbearers are Alfredo Del Valle, Antonio Del Valle Jr., Bonifacio Vega, Enrique Hernandez, Arturo Gonzalez, and, Michael Vasquez.
Family Del Valle would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at UTMB, The Meridian, and also Hallmark Hospice team for care provided for Maria Luisa Del Valle.
