Margaret was born on March 7, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Earl and Grace Laden.
She was a graduate of Beaumont High, and attended Lamar Tech. On September 7, 1956, this “Royal Purple” would marry Larry Anderson, a “Greenie” from crosstown rival South Park. They were married for 61 years.

Margaret was a talented soloist and musician. She performed in the opera while at Lamar, was both a pianist and organist at several local churches.
She had a big heart, loved animals of all kinds, and made it her personal mission to rescue those that were abandoned or mistreated.
The family would like to give special thanks Village Creek Nursing Home in Lumberton, and Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont for the excellent care given and kindness shown to both Margaret and the family over the past year.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
