Maddie Kay McMonigle
From the very start Maddie was a fighter.  Ready to see the world she arrived nearly three months early in a California hospital.  You would never know if you saw her later.  As Maddie grew up her personality flourished and her humor became undeniable.  She could make the best of any situation and was always a listening ear, full of good advice, and without a doubt could put a smile on your face.  Upon moving back to Texas Maddie and her sister were little league cheerleaders.  She went to Sheldon ISD from kindergarten all the way through high school.  At C.E. King she was involved in FFA and Colorguard.  After high school she continued to grow into the young woman we all know and love.  She loved mudding, floating the river, country music, hanging out with friends, bon fires, and crawfish!  We know she loved her momma, sister, daddy, niece, grandma, pawpaw, family, and friends more than herself.  As with everyone she had her ups and downs and was that much stronger for her life experiences.  She is forever in our hearts and minds.  WE LOVE YOU MADDIE!

Guests are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Visitation from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 followed by a 1:00 p.m. Memorial Service at Carnes Funeral Home – Texas City 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas 77591.
