Lori Angelique Richmond
Lori Angelique Richmond, age 31, departed this life on July 7, 2012. Lori was born to Dale and Dee Ann Richmond in Ft. Worth, TX on February 13, 1981. Her adventurous spirit took her on a journey which led to a very fulfilling life. After graduating high school, Lori went to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. She served our country in the Air Force which gave Lori the opportunity to spend time in San Antonio, TX, beautiful Monterey, CA, and Biloxi, MS. Her love for travel took her to Hawaii, New York, Washington D.C., Florida, Colorado, Utah, and Maine. Her love for skiing gave her the opportunity to live and work in ski resorts such as Keystone and Breckenridge. Lori enjoyed competing in downhill ski races around the country. Lori also loved the beach and spent the last two years of her life in Galveston and Houston. Lori’s adventures in this life were cut short by her illness. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Lori is survived by her parents - Dale and Dee Ann Richmond; brother - Robert Dale Richmond; sister-in-law - Amanda JoAnne Raymond Richmond; nephews - Korbyn Blaine & Landon Zane Richmond; brother - Timothy Mark Richmond; sister - Lisa Elizabeth Richmond Brunet; brother-in-law - Brandon Brunet; niece – Daria Brunet; nephews - Hunter & Bentley Brunet; Grandparents - Huey Lynn & Beulah Clark Richmond, Donald Edward & Margie M. Brymer, Melinda Moore; aunts - Marilyn Richmond, Gail O’Banion, Anita McNutt, Connie Rose; uncle - Ryan Brymer; cousins - Staci & Casey Melder, Steven & Lisan O’Banion, Sindi, Robert, Ben & Sam Johnson, Shannon O’Banion; her special friend - Savannah Rollins. Lori was welcomed into Heaven by her Poppy and Nanny - Roy & Lou Ella Brymer; Uncle Charles O’Banion.
Funeral services will be at 11AM Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at West Baptist Church, 404 West 7th Ave, Oakdale, LA, 71463, Rev. Gene Strother and Dr. Ray Meador.
The family will receive visitors from 8am until service time at the church.
Flowers will be accepted at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City on Monday, up to 5 P.M. All floral arrangements delivered after this time must be sent directly to the church in Oakdale, LA.
