Lois Crawford passed away on June 4, 2013 in Pasadena, TX. Lois was born on September 20, 1925 in Jacksonville, TX to Roy and Amanda White.
Lois was a lifelong genealogist and was an unequaled source of information on family history and interesting folklore. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Frankston, Texas and enjoyed socializing with the members at their monthly meetings. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She worked as a Librarian for the Pasadena Independent School District for several years and enjoyed showing the students the joy of reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Crawford, Jr. who departed this earth on December 21, 1995.
She is survived by her son Bruce Crawford, III and her beloved grandson Robert Bruce Crawford. Also surviving her are her sisters Louise Dillard, Nancy Penney, Annette Mayo and Jeanette Bullock.
The graveside service will be held on June 8, 2013 at Mixon Cemetery in Mixon, TX at 11 AM.
