Kate Anna Foster
Kate Anna (Katie) Foster, 71, of Santa Fe, Texas, a beloved child of the Most High God, redeemed by the blood of his son Jesus Christ, left this earth on December 31, 2018 to be reunited with her daughters, Katie Bea and Jennifer Diann Foster.
Katie was a proud graduate of Texas City High School and went on to be one of the first graduates of the College of the Mainland going on to attend the University of Houston.She is a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Katie said in the last days of her life that she wanted to live with an Attitude of Gratitude.
So as Katie’s family, we would like to express our thanks to the community of Santa Fe that has supported her in love and kindness for over 40 years, to Essential Hospice that made her last days easier, and the Santa Fe Senior Citizens group with special gratitude to Elizabeth McCullum. God bless each of you.
She is preceded in death by husband, Dave Foster; mother, Willie Mae Hussey; father, J.B. Barlow; sisters, Patsy Beshears and Marjorie Hayes; and brother, Kenneth Hussey.
Kate is survived by sister, Joyce Brown; brother, Joseph Barlow; nephews, Thomas Hayes, David Hayes, Eric Hussey and Daniel Brown; nieces, Marylyn Beshears, Mary Williams, Anna Bores, Amy Barlow, Denise Baker, Amy Vassak, and Samantha Munoz; great-nieces, Shelby Williams, Kayla Williams, and Brandy Booth with her husband Mark.
A special thanks to the son of her heart, Billy Lynn Williams II who by the grace of God was able to lift her up in her hour of need and to her longtime friend, Bill Reitmeyer.
The family will have a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday January 5th, 2019 from 9:00A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at the Thelma Webber Center in Santa Fe, Texas.
