Julio Javier Castro, Sr.
Julio Javier Castro, 42, of Texas City, entered heavens gates on March 16, 2013.
Julio was born on January 9, 1971, in Mexico. He graduated from Reagan High School and ROTC in 1991. He dearly loved his ROTC family. He was a truck driver for fifteen years. He also enjoyed taking his kids fishing.
Julio touched each of our lives in special ways and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He was the beloved husband of Ines Castro for eighteen years and loving father to Kassandra, Kris, Kasarah and Erik Castro. He also adored his godchildren Simon Gomez and Mariah Castaneda.
He is preceded in death by his son, Julio Javier Castro, Jr. He is survived by his mother Manuela Rivera and father Fransisco Javier Castro, mother and father-in-law Maria and Miguel Olguin, his sister Fransisca and brother-in-law Arnoldo Galvez, sister Maria and brother-in-law Isnardo Mexicano, sister-in-law Nikkii and brother-in-law Randy Rojas, nieces and nephews Mario, Jeanette, Francis, Victor, Xavier, Michelle, Guadalupe, Kimberly, Simon, Mikey, Randy Jr. and many other family and friends.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 5 to 9 pm at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX. Rosary and vigil to be given by Deacon John Carillo at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on March 22, 2013 at 10:00 am at Carnes Funeral Home. Mass to be followed at St. Mary of the Miraculous, 1604 9th Ave. N., Texas City TX at 11:00 am. Graveside service to follow at Galveston Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Arnoldo Galvez, Victor Galvez, Pete Vaquez Jr., Jessie Lopez, Felipe Castaneda and Randy Rojas.
