Juanita "Janie" Lopez
Juanita "Janie" Lopez, 88, passed away November 6th, 2014 in Nassau Bay, Texas. Janie and husband, Joe were married for sixty-four years. Janie and Joe spent time in the Military in the service of their country. Joe served as an Officer and Airborne paratrooper. After Joe's discharge, the family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas to work and raise their two daughters, Lillian and Sylvia. Prior to her health problems, Janie took care of her mother in Corpus Christi, Texas for approximately ten continuous years without a single complaint. After Joe's passing, Janie moved to the Houston area with her daughter, Lillian until her passing.
She is preceded in death by parents, Juan and Concepcion Trevino; brother, Ediberto; sisters, Evelia, Elvita and Evila; aunts, Tia's Lupe, Rita and Cuquita, and uncles, Juan, Charlie and Juaquin
Janie is survived by daughters, Lillian and Sylvia; brother, Jorge; many wonderful grandsons, Joseph, Gerry, Joe Edward and John David as well as many great-grandchildren. Others that survive her are members of the Trevinos, Garcia and Hodges families.
