Juan Ibarra, 83, of Galveston, Texas passed away on February 23, 2015.
He was born on May 16, 1931 to Ramon Ibarra and Augustina Rivera in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He is preceded in death by parents and son-in-law, Alberto Rincones.
Juan was a very hard working man. He was a farmer for 42 years and worked on a farm on Hwy 3 in League City with his boss, John Daro. They took pride in the crops they grew.
Juan was a lucky man who fell in love three times in his live; but was preceded in death by all three, Hope Calderon, Connie Moya and his original love and partner in crime, Angelita Ybarra.
Juan is survived by daughters, Yolanda “Stix” Ybarra of Galveston, Maria Ybarra of Galveston, Anita Ybarra (Chino Barrios) of La Marque, Lupe Medina (Victor) of Bacliff; sons, John Ybarra (Brenda) of San Leon and Victor Ibarra (Emelda) of Katy; grandchildren, Reuben “Charlie” (Magan), Joey (Camille), Monica, Joanna (Tony), Victor, Celia (Mychael), Rickey, Oneya (Rafael), Victor M. Jr. (Wendy), Kandace and Irene (Joshua) and, great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Eric, Daniel, Kimora, Mallory and Natalie. He is also survived sisters, Ofelia, Hermina, Isabel, Marta and brother, Lorenzo Ibarra as well as many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank Christina B, Kristi H, Stephanie S, Effie J, Suzanne B, Mindy D, Emily C, Kelley M with A*Med Hospice for all the care and compassion they gave our family and dad at this very important time in our life.

Services under the care of Carnes Funeral Home-Texas City and will be private at Forest Park-East Cemetery.
