Jose was one of those people who never met a stranger and had the personality to charm anyone. He was a long time resident of Houston, TX and later relocated to Dickinson, TX. Living in Dickinson, TX allowed him to be closer to the water where he greatly enjoyed his favorite past time of fishing. He also enjoyed gathering his family for a fish fry to share his latest catch. Jose was a real animal lover and was known to rescue injured and abandoned animals, including dogs, cats, birds, raccoons, snakes, and turtles. What he loved most was spending time with his children and grandchildren teaching them how to fish, play checkers, dominos, and chess.
