Johnnie Lee Brown Hayden was born in Galveston, TX to Deacon Johnnie Brown and Rosalee Brown. She was a loving wife and mother, who, was very devoted to her family. 

She stepped from time into eternity on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.  She arrived in to glory to join her parents, and Eunice Love; sister, Juanita Julien; and a loving son, Jerry Wayne Brown along with many other loved ones.  She leaves to cherish her delightful memories, her husband, Ocie B. Hayden; son, Lawrence Anthony “Tony” Jackson; daughters, Kathryn Cunningham (Nathan), Mara Hayden-Hagler, Marnie Hayden-Yancy; grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A Public Viewing is planned for Friday, April 26, 2013 from 5-8 PM at Carnes Funeral Home
3100 Gulf Freeway Texas City, TX 77591.   The Life Celebration services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Greater Barbour’s Chapel Baptist Church 7420 FM 1765 Texas City, TX.   Reverend Andrew W. Berry, II will officiate the service and Reverend Milton Guillory, will deliver the Eulogy.  The burial will immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, TX.  The family will receive guest at the church following the burial at the church fellowship hall.  Dorthea Jones, Funeral Director, and the caring staff of Carnes Funeral Home will be overseeing the services.  Memorials may be sent to the funeral home.
