Jo Ann Reeves-Praylor
JoAnn Reeves Praylor, a loving mother, grandmother and caretaker, was called to her Heavenly home August 23, 2018 at Kindred Hospital Clear Lake under the care of Kindred Hospice services. JoAnn was battling cholangeoductal carcinoma with metastasis to the liver stage 4 diagnosed July 3, 2018. JoAnn was born to Rosa Lee Reeves and Rayfield Reeves at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas on February 13, 1959 at 8:32 a.m. JoAnn attended Baytown Technical School in the late 1980’s in effort to complete her education. She has obtained her G.E.D., and her Certified Nurses’ Aid licensure. JoAnn was very proud of her accomplishments, and started her career in long term care. JoAnn was very passionate about patient care, and was employed at several Nursing Homes from Webster to Amarillo including Regency Village, Olsen manor Nursing Home, and Ware Memorial Care Center. JoAnn leaves to cherish and celebrate her memories: her brothers and sisters Warren Lee Reeves (deceased), Kelvin Reeves, Joseph Reeves (twin), Wesley reeves (deceased), Lester Charles Reeves (deceased), Joyce Marie White, Stella Jackson, Karen Hurst, Darlene Reeves, Carolyn Cahee, Sharon K. Pfifer (deceased), Ella Reeves (deceased), her spouse Joseph Henry Praylor., her sons Warren Reeves, Joseph Praylor Jr. (deceased 9/8/2012), Leonard Praylor, David Praylor, daughter Latasha Praylor, grandchildren Daeschia, Deshawn, Davon, Izzie, Teondra, Dane, and Lanae, and a host of family and friends she loved dearly. JoAnn loved family; had a heart of service, and love. JoAnn greeted anyone she encountered with a warm smile, loving heart, and had the most memorable laugh. JoAnn is loved dearly, and will be missed by her family and friends.
