Jimmy Ray Whitt
Jimmy Ray Whitt, 53, of Texas City, Texas, passed away on June 17th, 2015 from a lengthy battle with Cancer, at his home. He was the loving husband of twenty-three years to Ann L. Bohannon. Jimmy was born on February 2nd, 1962 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Daniel Whitt; grandparents, William and Flora Whitt of West Virginia; grandmother, Ruby Bell (Autry), and grandfather, James E. Crabtree.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Bohannon, Clark (C.J) Daymude, and two grandsons, Case and Conner Daymude; brother, Reggie Whitt and wife Teresa; nephew, Tommy Whitt (Kristina), Misty Steinecke (Keith) and Michelle Drewry (Aaron) and mother, Patsy Hubble.
After marrying on February 14th, 1992, they lived in Angleton, and then some years later, moved to Texas City, where they made their home.
Jimmy loved go offshore fishing, usually with his brother, Reggie, and fishing from the Dike at night, as well as fish right around home with Ann. Jimmy loved to be outdoors. He loved animals, and always had a few at any given time.
He worked in maintenance, all his life, and had heart as big as they come. Jimmy would do anything for you, if you needed him, as well as find the things that you couldn't normally find, and could fix anything he set his mind to do.
Jimmy will be missed by all….
The family will be having a Celebration of Life on July 11th, 2015.
