Janet Lynn Foote-Fretz, 48, lived in League City, Texas and left us to reside with her Savior on Saturday, 28th of July 2018. She is preceded in death by her father Ernest DeMoulin Foote. 

She is survived by husband, David Leroy Fretz.  They first met at Clear Creek High School in Latin class.  They remained friends throughout the years and later married.  She shared five wonderful years of marriage with him and their dogs, Rocket and Sherlock, and their cats, Smokey and Cocoa.  She is also survived by her mother Mary Bauer Foote of Kemah, Texas and by five sisters Laura Smith of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Linda Foote-Martin of Webster, Texas, Louise Welch of League City, Texas, Lisa Wells of Friendswood, Texas, Jennifer Medved of Colorado Springs, Colorado; along with numerous relatives and friends.

Janet Foot-Fretz was born, July 26th, 1970 in Key West, Florida.  She was the daughter of Mary Bauer and Ernest DeMoulin Foote.  She graduated Cum Laude from Clear Creek High School in 1988 and graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences in 1993.  She was employed at Raytheon Technical Services, GeoControl Systems, Northrop Grumman, Charles Evans & Co., The Galloway School, and Compucom Systems Inc.

She loved to travel to see the mountains and the Gulf Coast.  Also, she enjoyed swimming, long walks with her dogs, reading, puzzles and games.  She loved Salmon colored roses and Irises.   Furthermore, she was a Lifetime Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and a Committee Member of Rodeo Express.  She attended church at Heritage Park Baptist Church.  She will be remembered for her honest opinions and advice.

The funeral memorial will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Heritage Park Baptist Church, 2732 FM 528 Rd., Webster, TX 77598 at 5:00 PM. 

We appreciate everything she gave us and even through her battle with Colon Cancer.   We will remember the love and warmth that she shared during her precious time on earth.
