James W. Lanier Jr.

  • Aug 23, 2013 I enjoyed visiting with him at Laurel Court. He knew that he was going to Heaven one day, and was always witnessing to people to make sure they knew Jesus. He was such a bright spot at Laurel Court. I will miss him. Wendy Killingsworth

  • Aug 17, 2013 We were on our annual trip to Mexico when our VW Bus
spurtted and stopped on the highway with 5 kids. In the
distance we spotted a farm house. Being in the day before
cell phones Ed walked hoping to use
their phone. The man asked where do you live. When Ed replied
Galveston the man asked," do you know Jim Lanier"? With a big smile
answered "Good Friend". The man said " I'll tow you to the mechanic".
Thanks Jim, for being a friend and having a friend!
    Ed and Barbara Howard
