James Clark Gaddy
On Thursday May 16th 2019 James Clark Gaddy, 55, departed this life from complications of heart disease. A lifelong resident of Pasadena, TX, he is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Verana, his brother Joe Gaddy, sister-in-law Angela Gaddy, niece Arlene Gaddy, father-in-law Jesus Diaz and mother-in-law Edelmira Diaz, brother-in-law Mayen Diaz, nephews Alek, Deemus & Kaiser Diaz and cousins Laura Bottom (Gaddy) & Jason Gaddy. James was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry J. Gaddy & Barbara S. Sherley (Brock), and his grandparents Jesse J. & Jewel Gaddy and Norman W. & Mary Agnes Brock.
Born on January 24th 1964 in Pasadena, TX, James was a fiercely private person who loved classic rock, especially The Who & Led Zeppelin, & was someone you would never beat at Trivial Pursuit: The Beatles edition. He also loved the Houston Astros & the Dallas Cowboys and collecting memorabilia. James was an avid reader, kept up to date with the news, and was especially passionate about politics.
A celebration of James’ life will be held Saturday May 25th from 2 – 5 pm at Carnes Funeral Home, 1102 Indiana St., South Houston, TX 77587. A reception will follow at the same location.
