Jaime Tamayo Garcia
Jaime Garcia was born in Tanhuato, Michoacán, Mexico on August 23, 1952. He passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the age of 62 years, in Cornerstone Hospital in Webster, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. Garcia and Anita Tamayo Garcia and his beloved Uncle Jesus Garcia.
Jaime is survived by his loving wife, Maria Nolasco Garcia and three beautiful daughters: Anita, Mariana, and Alejandra. Brothers: Juan Garcia, and wife Maricela from Galveston, Texas, Francisco Garcia, and wife Dora from Santa Fe, Texas, Jose Garcia, Jesse Garcia and wife Cora from Mathis, Texas. Sisters: Gloria Torres, and husband Jesus from Galveston, Texas, Mariquilla Dew and husband Jim from Tucson, Arizona, and numerous family members, including nieces and nephews.
Jaime was a long time resident of Santa Fe, Texas. He was a lifelong welder and a member of the Boilermakers Union. His favorite sport was raising and fighting game birds, where he made many friends. He loved to sing and listen to music of any genre. He sang in the church choir at Queen of Peace in La Marque, Texas. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
Pallbearers are Francisco Garcia Jr, Andy Garcia, Ruben Garcia, Oziel Nolasco, Omar Nolasco, Dustin Raanes, Jesse Reyes III, and Roberto Torres.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his brothers: Juan Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Jose Garcia and Jesse Garcia.
