Howard Edward Long Sr.
Howard Edward Long was born in Galveston, Texas on December 24, 1992. He passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016. He loved partying with friends, playing pool and riding horses. He had a passion for MMA boxing. He had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that was ridiculously contagious. He showed a love so strong, especially for his children. He was loved by so many and will be missed deeply, especially by the ladies.
He is preceded in death by brother, Jeremiah Highsmith; grandfathers, Robert E. Mitcham III and Frank Budwine; uncle, Marvin Budwine, and Joshua Paul Mitcham and grandmother, Ruby Long Budwine.
Howard is survived by kids, Howard Edward Long Jr. and Angel Sophia Long;
parents, Lisa Highsmith, Howard Earl Long, and Ronnie Camfield; aunts and uncles, Robert Mitcham 4th, Jessie Mitcham and Doug Shotwell; brothers and sisters, Keree Renchie, Tivarres Kirkland, Rodrick Young, Tannis Young, Kimberly, Andy and Ashley Long, Kayauna Scott, William Archer Jr. and Shoumarie Archer; grandmother, Mary Mitcham as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers are Jonathan, Deven and Robert Mitcham 5th, Jeffrey and Bennie Bonnette, Rodrick Young, Keree Renchie, Greg Delao.
Your guests are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Visitation from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2016 with an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services at Carnes Funeral Home – Texas City 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas 77591. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorail Park in Hitchcock, Texas.
