Henry Cavazos

Henry James Cavazos passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at his home in Galveston, Texas.

Henry was born in Houston, TX on September 8, 1946.  He is survived by wife, Roxella T. Cavazos; mother, Elisa Cavazos; brother, Arthur Cavazos and wife Judy Cavazos; niece, Anna Cavazos Mayville; nephew, Michael Cavazos; sister-in-law, Leticia Hernandez; niece, Crystal Marra; brother-in-law, Armando C. Talamantes and wife Lupita Talamantes as well as niece, Celeste Annette Talamantes. 

Henry is predeceased by father, Arthur Cavazos and aunt, Dr. Ninfa Cavazos.

Henry was a veteran of the United States Navy and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and South Texas College of Law.  He was employed by the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas for 41 years. He served in various roles. Most recently, Henry served as Associate Dean of Academic & Student Affairs in the School of Health Professions at UTMB at Galveston.
