Greg Middleton parted peacefully from this world on September 2, 2020 at the age of 74. He leaves behind his beloved life partner, Dottie Henry, his daughter, Glenda Middleton Swan, her husband Forrest and their children Maia and Morgan, and his older brother, Pat Middleton. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, his quick mind led to career success as a task force leader within the Internal Revenue Service. However, after taking an early retirement, Greg’s love of travel soon made him a man of the world, experiencing each new place with Dottie and other friends by his side. Indeed, the fact that the word "gregarious" includes his name seems only fitting, and it is hard to picture him without a glass in his hand, sharing some story or joke that would make everyone in the room laugh. While we certainly sometimes cry for our loss, we are also cheered by our happy memories of him, of which we have many. Greg didn’t want a funeral, so instead we simply invite you to share your own thoughts, feelings, and memories of him here.
Greg loved all animals and would have been honored to know that people sent memorial contributions to an animal charity of their choice. The Houston SPCA was one of his favorites.
