Gracie Gaylyn Doughty
Gracie Gaylyn Doughty (Inglis), 58, of Dickinson Texas, died unexpectedly in her sleep on Saturday, December 2nd 2017 at 3:00 am.
She was born in San Fernando California on March 22, 1959 to her parents Joyce G Carpenter and Ken Carson who have proceeded her in death.
She was the common law wife of Michael A. Inglis of Dickinson, Texas and he survives.
Also surviving is her loving daughter, Silver Grace Becker of Port Orange, Florida and grandchildren, Joshua Scott Ogden, 19, Jeremiah Andrew Becker, 14, Jacob Walter Becker, 13, Annie Grace Becker, 3mths.
Also surviving are her daughters, Joyce Janice Doughty, 31 of Knob Noster, Missouri and her two sons Lance Clark, 11, and JD Clark, 7. And Eden Rene Doughty, 28 of Conway Arkansas with two children Aniya Davis, 8 and CJ Davis,7.
Also surviving is her only son Byron Allen Doughty, 29 of Houston, Arkansas his wife Kristin and their two sons Byron M Doughty, 3 and Trevor A Doughty, 2.
Also surviving is her older Sis, Dani Hornbuckle of High Island, Texas.
Gracie was a long time resident of Dickinson where she happily and peacefully lived with Mike together in their home on Dickinson Bayou.
She loved to cook for family and friends, she enjoyed riding Harley’s and alone time spent in the woods. She loved to laugh and listen to music. She was very proud of her Native American heritage and enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren everything she knew. She will forever be loved and missed.
The visitation is from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Carnes Funeral Home . The funeral service will follow at 2:00PM also at the Carnes Funeral Home.
