Glenn Rossman

Glenn Allen Rossman was born in Houston,Texas on March 5th,1952. He passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the age of 66 in Texas City, Texas.

Glenn graduated from Milby High School and then served as a Houston firefighter for almost 10 years. He then moved to the Galveston county area where he worked as a service manager in the car business for many years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, hunting and gardening- but most of all spending time with his family. His relationship with Jesus Christ was paramount in his life and he passed that on to his friends and family. He will be greatly missed for his warmth and sense of humor and for always treating everyone he came in contact with exactly the same. He was the center of our big family and always will be.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Patsy Cook.


Glenn is survived by his wife of 27 years, Robin Dale Rossman; daughter, Tanesha McKinley and husband Chris of Spring,Texas; daughter, Amy Rossman of League City, Texas; son,Clinton Dale and his wife Daniela of Austin,Texas; son,Lance Dale and his wife Colleen of Hockley, Texas. Grandchildren Hayden McKinley, Kaylyn McKinley, Grace McKinley of Spring, Texas. Ashlyn Sharp, Kylyn Leach, Brayden Ladd of League City, Texas. Brodie Dale and Aubrey Dale of Hockley,Texas. Sisters, Terrie Cook of Friendswood,Texas; Pamela Swafford and husband Jimmy of North Richland Hills,Texas; brother David Cook and wife Annie of Friendswood, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Benbrook, Dana Drew, Fred Forshag, Craig Howard, Mike Matlage, Marty Raymond and Guy Withrow.

Memorial services will be held at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City on Thurs, September 27th.

Visitation at 1pm with service following at 2pm.
