Frances Marie Gransden

Frances Gransden

Frances Marie Gransden was the daughter of Mancil and Mildred McLarty, the loving wife of Thomas L. Gransden, and the mother of Thomas L Gransden Jr.

She is survived by both parents, her husband, son, sisters;  Joanna (Billie) Herndon , Brenda (Tony) Holly, brothers;  Robert McMillan and Anthony Weems, (9) nieces, (6) nephews,  her brother-in-law  William B Gransden and sister- in law Julie (Kenneth) Davis,  and many  friends. Her departure has left us with a space that no other shall be able to fill.

Marie, as some called her, Frances known by others, was a wonderful person. She worked in the childcare industry for many years, taking care of infants and toddlers.  She was always lending a helping hand to any one in need, opening her home to family with no place to go.

Frances was born in Biloxi, Mississippi moved to El Paso, Texas at a very young age, she graduated high school, and in her early 20’s she met Thomas the love of her life.  They married in 1985 and had their first and only child in 1993; they bought their dream home together in League City in 2008 where she spent the last years of her happy life.

In her recent days fox news and the policies of the current administration were the fire that lighted her flame, she was concerned about the closures of local businesses and the condition of the United States.  Her response was always “Oh that makes me so mad!”

“To my loved Ones, this is not Goodbye, but my see you until we are reunited yet again.”

“Look for me in the shadows because I will always and forever be Watching.”
